In order to be able to work with global NGOs, we registered a non-profit organisation called The Nangila Foundation (NPO 225-002).
Over the past few years we have worked on projects for global corporates like Samsung South Korea, KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) and JP Morgan and Chase. We have managed events from Cataract Clinics for surgeries and screenings to Boot Camps for SMMEs. We have run projects to renovate a computer lab at an underprivileged community high school to developing a programme for The Fellowship Initiative, an organisation that provides intensive academic and leadership training to help young men of colour from economically-distressed communities around the United States. |
2016 Samsung Employee Volunteer Programme
In collaboration with SAMSUNG South Korea, we assisted Masibambisane
High School to open a brand new IT department.
Samsung employee volunteers from South Korea taught the learners how to fix smartphones and create websites with online shopping. They also decorated the entrance to the IT room.
Besides the phones and laptops they brought along, the Samsung volunteers came with lots of enthusiasm and excitement.
